Based on the number of cases occurring in the world of health, diabetes can cause paralysis and even the patients's leg should be amputated. The worse is, the disease can also cause blindness due to damaged retinal.

To anticipate cases of diabetes that could have happened to the younger generation, Google created the technology of Artificial Intelligence that can detect symptoms of diabetes.

Google was reportedly working with ophthalmologist to collect patient data that they handle. Quoted from Ubergizmo, "Any ophthalmologist who works closely with the Google team will collect patient data in the form of eye x-rays".

They will observe each patient's eyes and saw the signs that point-shaped wound appeared at the end of the red line. This point, in terms of health called "Hemmorhages" (Bleeding).

Once observed, the ophthalmologist will send the X-rays of patients to Google. Then, their AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology will automatically return to check whether the patient's eye is positive to have diabetes' symptoms or not.

Google said they have tested the AI algorithms with a number of certified ophthalmologist in the United States (US).

Although not yet officially, Google hopes the speed and accuracy level AI algorithms are able to contribute in detecting the type of illness. Not only diabetes, but also in other diseases.
